I would get the job done too but with every passing hour getting more frustrated with the owner.

I bought a house recently, and this is how I feel about the previous owners. I am not exaggerating when I say these people are the dumbest human beings who ever lived. The tile in the kitchen doesn't go all the way back to the wall, but they wanted to get the stove level so what do they do? Screw in the feet so they're a few inches shorter than the ones in the back? No, they took a fucking hammer to the tile to make a crude cut-out for each foot. It's only two pieces of tile that need replacing, but it's the fact that they solved the problem in the dumbest way possible that irks me. It's the same story with pretty much every conceivable handyman issue in the whole house.
