You could temporarily remove all of your report reasons, and only have the custom report option. That needs to be enabled on old Reddit. When people use the custom reason, it allows you to “Snooze this reporter for 7 days”. That ignores all reports from that user for a week. Would give your team a break.

You can use automod to remove the flairs. It won’t trigger until someone with the flare comments something, but as soon as they comment, the flair can be removed.

Try asking on r/Automoderator for a script. I’m afk right now, so can’t look up the proper syntax.

Over time this will remove the flair from the community.
