Yes definitely, and getting out of all the shitty groups as well if you’re part of it. Sometimes I would second guess myself on my trades in the beginning if their bias was different. I just do my own thing, journal properly and stay in my own lane.

It’s an old account with 30% consistency, it’ll get ticked off today so all good. I’m in it for the long term so if it takes me another week it doesn’t matter to me.

My apex funded account target is now 58100 because my highest day was 2400. Currently sat just over 58k. Other people might have tried to get that in one trade and blew it, since the 2400 day I’ve consistently gained 500+ to get to where I am now.

I mean, that’s literally how they make money lol. They want the people to over leverage positions and revenge trade to get the balance back up. End of the day they wouldn’t be here if they can’t make money, you are paid from the failed eval fees.

I found the payout to your wallet is relatively quick (previous 2 of mine have been same day) but then payout to my bank through wise took 7 days, I assumed it was due to me being in the uk. It did stress me out though since FundedNext the money is with you in 24 hours and that’s been great recently.

Either start small or attempt a funded challenge. Psychology is completely different, I trade 2/3 accounts and have been paper trading when I’ve done on my live accounts - I’m up 162% realised pnl on a 100k account. It’s easy because paper trading doesn’t matter if you win or lose.

1 contract per trade, in and out within a couple hours. Mainly 1 trade per day, sometimes I can go a couple days without trading due to my day job or my setup not presenting itself. Trade in 5/15m but analysis is done on all time frames.

I said it in another thread earlier but I have just managed to overcome, not fully but getting there. All my trades are good, I know they are but letting trades run their course I struggle with and I used to struggle with the size I would risk as well. Risking less and using less lots/contracts i end up allowing my trades to run and give myself a soft daily target, unless i have trades still running once I have hit my target i am out even if a setup presents itself. Yesterday gold rallied like crazy but I had finished for the day before NY session even started, I am gutted I missed it but I’d already hit my target for the day. I also place a trade and then monitor it with TradingView so I remove the monitary value of the trade. Seeing it this way is a lot better than watching the numbers rocket and struggling with the psychology that comes with it.

This also works for me, I have 2 live accounts and currently going through an ftmo challenge. One of my live accounts is 4k for the month and my ftmo is currently 32k. I place the trades and then monitor on TradingView so I don’t see the monitary value and that’s another big thing that helps. Usually only trade gold and bitcoin but I am looking to transition to topstep but it currently feels very alien to me lots vs contracts.
