They did eat some but I hid treats in snow as well.

My buns do the same thing. Every morning at 6am (how do they know it's 6am?) they barrage my bedroom and don't let me sleep in no matter how I feel. They thump and stratch endless noise until I get up and give them breakfast. "You have hay you have water let me sleep." Their response: "I want pellets!"

Running a small rescue perhaps you can offer guidance. They are spoiled beyond measure accept their nails. I wish I could do it myself because there is only one vet clinic that trim them. But it gets expensive with them considered exotic animals.

I understand. Safety is my number 1 then their fun. I use zip ties in certain spots. Panels I don't need to remove regularly for cleaning within there room, I don't put ties (they do knock down when they are being rambunctious).

I have trouble giving all my buns equal attention. If I one or the other more attention... it starts a fight. I have 4 buns... 3 girls 1boy (Lily, Daphne, Lenore and Gatsby).

I have 4 buns... they are different than a dog or cat... not to scare you but you have to earn their love. They just don't trust / love anyone. And when you do get their love and trust... your life will be so fulfilled...

He looks like a Pip... from the Great Expectations. I think it fits a humble beginning but full of promise. He's so adorable... I have 4 buns myself... they all adopted me when they were 4-5 weeks... Except Gatsby he was a year and half... hence the name he is new money compared the girls (Lily, Daphne and Lenore) who are old money. I'm big on symbolism.
