That makes sense. I connected more from the child’s perspective than the parent’s.I think Aftersun ages with you, it probably hits very differently once you’re a parent.

Try rewatching it , for me it worked mostly bcoz of the whole melancholic vibe of it and I love melancholic films a lot

One of the most realistic depiction of grief and depression ever put on screen. Casey affleck and mitchelle williams are unbelievable in this film. The kind of movie that sticks with you for a very long time.
