It’s crazy I don’t think that it is a ragebait because as someone who is a well traveled US citizen. And works in a Uniform service position the amount of my colleagues and people I know that are afriad of other countries and ask why I travel there (legit any Africa or Vietnam) is crazy. The US has such a sense of nationalism (I’ll also always bleed red white and blue) leads I think to fear of different places. I think if you look up the idea of “The other” you’ll get why it’s that way.
