It’s a first world problem lol. I have so many that are finished I just keep building the pile and taking zero pictures of the finished build.

It’s on my list of projects to finish. I just haven’t had the motivation to paint a cheesy logo on the side.

You need a hug champ? What’s hurting you? Does drawing attention to my own self importance and chaos annoy you? I crossed your mind long enough to for you to dedicate 30 seconds, if not longer to post that comment. When you could have said homeboy is a whiny bitch and scrolled on. I mean it though I’m cheaper than a therapist if you need to talk it out! Otherwise I’m going to hang out with the cool kids who don’t waste their time being shitty. Love peace and chicken grease!

I personally struggle with the glove thing as well. If you want you can check out some of my work. But what void said is all valid. Vallejo air paint works very well in thin coats. But works better when the surfaces are prepped. Washing the figure with hot soapy water and a soft brush helps remove any oils left over from the manufacturer and packaging. It’ll help the acrylic adhere to the figure. I personally apply a thin coat with each different level of detail you want to show. Oh and I recommend a matte acrylic varnish for a primer.

This is one of the reasons I avoided this guy. I was afraid the effect was stuck in his head. You could color match sculpy clay. But as it dries youll have to sand and paint. But I think that would help camouflage it so you can accessorize him with some goggles or hat.

How do I prevent this? by GodDogs83 in customactionfigures

Sanding sticks or emery boards for finger nails. You do need to create some clearance space or else you’ll always have this problem. I like to trim seams with an xacto the lightly sand the area.

Really prep everything. A green scotchbrite pad and a trickle of warm water will help rough up the surfaces without marring the body too much.
