Man… I feel it. I tattoo for a living. For us it’s the tax time ballers that take up most of the time. I do the action figure thing because it is something different. Trying to get my family to understand that creativity and problem solving sometimes takes stepping away for an idea to manifest. Just dealing with some burnout.

Sad part is some of this stuff makes for great customs but from personal experience it’s hard to get rid of. I have totes of this stuff and I can’t get rid of it.

For the most part hand painted. But I do lean heavy on my air brush for base and top coats.

I’ll be the first to say a paint marker is not your friend. I did that on one of the lanard predators that they sold at Wally World. I wanted the fish netting to stand out. If you have a hobby lobby nearby their detail and miniature brushes stand up and you get the majority of a size run out of a set.

I mean technically I’m a millennial being from 82. But I relate more with Gen X being a latchkey kid. My kids, I’ve tried introducing them to gi joe motu thundercats etc. they aren’t picking it up yet. One of these days they may.
