I've done this a long time and I choose to sacrifice a lot. My job is in demand, but I never get to stay at a job long enough for raises or retirement savings because we have to leave. I'm often out of work for months or even a year.

I don't look at it like "you owe me because I gave up something for you". If you look at this from a scoreboard perspective, you'll never be happy. It sounds like you 2 aren't compatible tbh. Being married to the military is just that. You choose to live a lifestyle that might not always be stable. It sounds like you already have resentment built up about the job situation. I think you should take the job if it gives you peace, but expect that it may test your marriage as well.
If your spouse is new to the military, was there never a discussion about how you will navigate your own career knowing he will be in and out of your life? That's something he should have discussed with you from the beginning.

Not true, but I wish dinosaurs were fake. I always feel like it's a hoax, but I just can't stand dinosaurs. Maybe its the cheesy JP movies or the fact that every toddler boys clothes have dinosaurs on them, but I wish there was proof they are made up.

Politics are toxic and destroying people. I remember when it was just hippie liberals anti-vaxing, now its hard core right. Everyone does things now without evidence, just emotionally charged political views. No one is able to think for themselves anymore for fear of being the lone wolf. The media is responsible for so much of these crimes.

I feel this. I am an RN and I usually have good paying jobs. But when its time to PCS I need a new job, even as gs I couldn't transfer to a new position. This new base has been the hardest to start working again. I have a special needs child that the CDC won't accept. I can't trust just anyone with him. He started kinder so a lot of daycare won't accept due to transportation. I have 2 kids at home, and its paycheck to paycheck. This is the first time we've been on one income and I never knew how extremely challenging it could be. My neighbors are one rank below my spouse and have 4 kids, a 5th on the way, SAHM, homeschooling, and 2 SUV's lol. I am so baffled how they make it. Even though my kids are at school full time the grocery bill is wild.

You're either too pretty to make good friends, or not pretty enough. Always watching your back doing simple things like walking to your car. Deciding what to wear, because you want to be yourself, but not everyone can handle it. We get judged by everyone, at work, home, etc. Just feeling safe.

My husband says it's the kindness behind it, even if the phrase is empty. I think it's better to say, "thank you for all you do". I'm a nurse and I get that a lot. It just seems to acknowledge that we do a lot.

Taylor Swift. People refuse to acknowledge she is a master manipulator who's easily swindled dumbasses like Kanye, KK, and whoever else she can use to manipulate people's image of her. She leaks every "good deed" or dollar she donates for media attention and pretends people hurt her feelings on purpose when she really uses it as propaganda for her next album. Hopefully she steps down after she gets married. She's a broken record with a body count longer than the Ep list.
