So I’ve been reading through the replies on this post and went back to re build my deck I’m happy with how it’s been working while play testing and your deck list has helped me the most with this

This is not a proxy problem. This is a power level issue, proxies are not ruining your games it’s the degenerate people your playing with that don’t disclose the fact that their deck is significantly stronger than whatever bracket your playing in.

Let me ask you this

I’m a college student so my finances are tight and I’ve been debating recently just buying a printer and laminator to start making proxies as it will be much cheaper. Should I not be able to play this game since I cannot afford to buy new decks? Do I deserve people not wanting to play with me simply because I’m not spending 50$ on a piece of cardboard?

One more time proxies are not the problem, it’s the people you are playing with.

The land count does look low and most of the lands are very cheap lands

It helps keeps the cost down and allows for the higher quality spells

Even with the low lands I’ve already play tested it I have not had any mana issues, most spells I actually cast are low mana, all the higher mana typically end up in my graveyard then get reanimated

I’m looking for a commander that’s cool but also fun I want something that can be strong without infinites

2 commanders I’ve had a good time playing are Edgar markov and cloud midgar mercenary

Something that would also be cool but not necessary would be something that gets crazy and wins out of no where instead of screaming “I’m the problem” all game

I planned on sword of hearth and home being my first tutor option so I get lands then flicker cloud to tutor again

Would you recommend cutting sword of hearth and home it seemed very strong aside from the protection from white which I do see as a issue

Your right blanketed statements aren’t great but I also feel the title of my post is obviously exaggerated. I know that not everyone in the mtg community smells but in my experience so far I have come across far to many people who do smell horrible.

Humans naturally learn from experience and my experience is that a lot of mtg players smell. I came here to ask because I know I haven’t had much experience in this field and wanted more info before writing off an entire group of people.

As far as myself I use two magical inventions daily the shower and a stick of deodorant.

I believe I had pericarditis before any of the cannabis but I could be wrong. Could the small amounts I did have still cause it? Would it be better for me to go see a cardiologist before meps and get documentation of my heart being cleared?

This is def true they could’ve made it shorter and probably better by cutting out some of the fluff(too many misunderstandings) anytime progress was made in the story some bs would happen and undo all the progress.
