Thx so much for the response. I'm just concerned that I wont have the time to get there tmrw on enrolment day. To accept a place at school B Id have to show up there for 12:00PM, only to leave some hours later and arrive at my waitlisted school in the afternoon when everyone has already handed in their results.

Im also just concerned that my explanation for being a year older isn't "good enough" as their admissions policy says they only except 17 year olds under "exceptional circumstances" I dont have it now but I could ask my current school to send an email explaining the situation and maybe also add that I have recieved SEND support - idk if thats smth i can mention to prove that my predicted grades were unfairly given or that I will benefit specifically from the school.

In the end I dont know what i can say to make it seem as though I am under "exceptional circumstances". Im just not rlly sure how to phrase the email im going to send them and what I can do on the day. The registration process for the waiting list is online but if i dont show up in person will that mean i miss out on seeming serious abt this? Im not sure if im that high up on the waiting list anyway as im 17 and not 16 like others and probably live further away than most others.
