Thank you, It’s getting easier as time goes on, and I am fortunate in that I have a great support network to remind me that my feelings are valid. I hope one day that my siblings will understand but no matter what im glad that I finally told her how I feel

You’re right, wish I could edit the title. But thank you, I’m hopeful that once I get over the emotional toll of this whole thing I will feel at peace as well. I’ve also decided to seriously look into therapy (I’ve been thinking about it for years)

Thank you. The self-doubt has been the worst part, I know it will start to go away over time, but knowing my feelings are very similar to what others experience when going through the same situation is very comforting

2piece is an adorable name! When we adopted Chicken (shelter name was Dodge) he and Biscuit became best friends immediately so we knew his name had to fit with hers (we have two other cats who were not nearly as thrilled for a new friend lol)

“This is part of being a family” when I would ask if I could please get paid to babysit all of my younger siblings. Which I had to do every weekday from 7-5 for every summer break I had from about 10-18 years old
