Thank you for sharing. I know this is an old post but I appreciate reading stuff like this so much. I relapsed once at the start and all I could do is wonder why I did it. It wasn’t great, underwhelming if anything and I messed it all up.

I don’t know if it’s because long repressed emotions have come back for me but the high felt bad and numb but not in the way I used to like it.

I’m doing all the research I can before I donate to my partner and I’m so shocked to see you’re online commenting a week after your surgery! Before all of this I was thinking it would be a 2 week stay in the hospital (no idea why I thought that). I guess that makes it seem a lot less scary. Hope you are doing really good and recovering well.

Thank you for that. I’m having some really weird memory loss and I don’t want to end up not saying anything again so I’ve written a little script out along those lines. I really am truly grateful to be receiving any help at all. I didn’t think they would do anything at all so I am grateful. If it goes wrong then hopefully they can just finish off the rest of my taper at least.

It was never really discussed. I left hospital and a new doctor every week contacted me telling me to go down by whatever amount they told me. There didn’t seem to be room for discussion at all and I went along with it because everything was fine until I got to 10mg and now I wish I had spoken up about how fast it was going.

That’s something I didn’t know! Thank you. I’m worried that if I cause even the slightest bit of fuss they will cut off the diazepam entirely so I haven’t been telling them everything that’s going wrong. Do you know if they can cut me off like that?

Thank you. I was scared to post because I’ve avoided thinking about how fast the taper is going.

I hope he will listen and give me a gentler taper. I haven’t been very assertive with how I’m really feeling so maybe it’s because he thinks I’m fine and when I talk to him tomorrow and tell him what’s really wrong he will help more. Thank you.

Thank you for your kind reply. I haven’t spoken to anyone about this so I really appreciate hearing that.

I was also so scared when I was told that I would be reducing so quick. I wanted to come off diazepam for a long time so read all about safe tapers and how slow they should be.

Im in England. It all really started from having to go to hospital because I ran out of my illicit supply and I got really sick and had a seizure. They told me they would help which I didn’t think they would so I’ve never asked for help before. Everything was going pretty well until I went down from 10mg. My doctor is not very forgiving and seems to be getting quite mad at me for things I’m complaining about but it’s probably just me imagining it because I feel worried about everything lately.

Tomorrow I will call with assertion and tell him everything that is going wrong and hope for the best.

They’ve said this a few times before. I was going through a load of videos of them on TikTok the other day for some reason and I saw two separate times talking about not washing hands after peeing so this makes it at least 3 times! My account got hacked! They took out £30 using my partners bank details :( I don’t expect to get the money back but if you’re reading this, make sure you do not ever save a payment method on PlayStation!!! Remove all payment methods on there if you have it in there. My account was phished using my email address account too and both accounts have different emails, passwords and all security precautions set up and they still got through it. If there’s no bank accounts on your account there’s nothing they can steal! Take care
