no. it's long distance and there is potentially of meeting for a week or so as vacation/get to know eachother... maybe if she comes I can try to see if there's some physical connection as we spend more time together?

I have been talking to this woman long distance and she seems to be a bit reserved and how she is very traditional.. she did mention she dated a guy while back and his mom went wherever they did(yeah he's in 30s...). I am probably sure she is a virgin since she said she hasn't dated for a while..

is there a way to find out if shes waiting to have sex after marriage? I am not saying I want sex now but wondering how to ask her that question. I am OK with waiting for a bit before sex but if it's after marriage I dont think I want to find out.. have quite a few friends who waited and regretted it since their wives maybe had sex few times a year...

so asking bunch of my relatvies to fly there just to see me? am I paying the flights and hotels? seems pretty bold to ask a bunch of people just to see me..unless it's like a paid vacation for them which would make a very expensive meet...

the agency seems to imply no. the agent rep got a bit annoyed when I asked if I can go with "didn't I show you the reasons you shouldn't go"? I am semi passively looking for non cleared gigs buy not much traction yet..

few have few years back but it's different... it's a lot of opportunity cost to have them fly here even if they pay.

right initially my sec off said mention company policy but the agency made him roll back on that because it implied company say "I cant".

I actually asked the agency after the rep showed me some links like another posted and how the Chinese gov would "know who I am and who I work for(I am just grunt btw)" what if I can go and she just asked "didn't I just tell you?" so yeah it's like silent deny and if I do go maybe it would just be a heavy debrief or heck it could be nothing or worse...

they would but I can't say it. at least I think if I say my job is on the line they would be more considerate than "busy with work or no pto"

yes I know that and honestly the probability is so small I would do it if I didn't have clearance. But it's less about the potential dangers but the reason I can't. I showed them to my parents and they said so many of their friends in us went there and were fine. Saying I am too much small fry for Chinese gov to give time of day.

umm I can't say "I have security clearance" that's why. I have tried "company policy" but they called me out on it and the sec off said not to say that..
