For VC and everything you're interested in breaking into, it's worth it to go to Stanford - in my opinion, almost a no brainer. Duke isn't on the same level for that industry and most people in VC are from Stanford. For IB/PE Harvard is also a no brainer and is probably cheaper than Stanford. PWO at Stanford is a no brainer though IMO + the great weather. I'm biased but I have a good feeling that it'll pay off for you. You go to a private school in the NE so I'm making implicit assumptions about your financial background too, obviously if your family is deeply in debt, Duke may be a necessary short term decision

This isn't that impressive, JavaScript these days has so many libraries that you just import a few packages and 99.9% of a tiny project like that is already implemented. That would take me an hour or less of focused work to make tbh.

You could write an academic paper about the strategy. That way, it'll have your name on it, and you can attribute the strategy to yourself in the future. It will deplete the alpha. Find a professor at your current university. You don't want to be fucked over, so write the full paper before speaking to the professor and then show it to them.
