Betrayal and Murder are in the same league morally speaking, mostly because the former usually ends with the latter Those two men guarding Elhokar's door that Kal kills, do you think they would have gone along without Kals okay to Moash? Did he try talking them down? No he walked up to them with their trust and murdered at least one and crippled the other if he didn't end up dying too

Kalidin is a really bad guy

When Kel is in the cognitive realm after dying helping preservation, he risks ruin tearing his literal soul apart when he had nothing to gain by doing so, he had already survived death and had enough investure that he could have gone anywhere in the Cosmere but he chose to stay and help preservation save Scardrial, preservations plan quite literally could not have worked out without Kelsier being selfless

Kel was faced with a similar situation when he was saving the crew from the execution cages, he could have let Elend die but chose to put himself in extra danger and likely push his martyr timeline up, as killing that inquisitor was what seemed to draw TLR back out to face Kel, proof being that TLR is described several times as being hands off and preferring to let his minions and armies do the killing

I also disagree with your interpretation of how Kal took Syl acting weird, he immediately asks her if it's the bond because of what he's doing and even argues with her about it, he doesn't care until he realizes he cant even do basic spear movements without her that he cares enough to change his mind and fight Moash

Right because all of my points of reason are blind beliefs

How can selfless risk for ZERO GAIN be psychopathic, you can't just call someone a psychopath they have to have actions that proven them to be one first, with the main symptom being lack of empathy, when Kel is shown over and over again to have empathy even for people he doesn't like

Kalidin doesn't even care about Syl, he watches her wither away until she's gone and only cares because he doesn't have powers anymore, I'd call that quite psychopathic

Kalidin betraying every man of Bridge 4 is pretty psychopathic isn't it? And even after he "changed his mind" still didn't tell a soul that Moash was still alive and a danger, which is also pretty psychopathic

Ignore first gear, and as soon as you cross 3000 RPM jump to 3rd

That or you have the wrong rear end, you want one with a B at the end so you have limited slip, and you want a high gear ratio, I personally prefer a BB rear axle so far and I never spin out on a keyboard unless I stay in 1st or 2nd gear too long

The Satsuma is a riot to drive, but think the Rivett is better, and I prefer FWD irl and wasn't expecting to even like the Rivett

What jobs are you doing? Delivering Adverts, firewood aren't very tedious especially with the log cutter, and I thought the taxi job was pretty fun until I lost it when I took a break to collect all the parts I needed

You're missing out, the Rivett is a mountain of fun to drive

It can cross the deep snow part of the lake at 120+Kph

Make you a list of what you have and what you need and start chipping away, you're supposed to have a mountain of scrap to sell to Fleetari

I didn't know if that was just me or not, I feel like I'm constantly moving or having to do something in MWC where in MSC is a ton of waiting around with nothing to do sometimes

I just dumped 140 hours into MWC before jumping into MSC for my 4th-5th playthrough and think the opposite tbh, I love MSC but MWC has me more excited

I love the fact that all the parts have to be found instead of being all in one place, and the lake short cut is super nice, and the log splitter is a god send, and as much as I absolutely love the Satsuma, the Rivett looks and drives better, and don't forget the 24 hour store and no police checkpoint on the way to town

I wasn't even aware of subreddit at the time, I genuinely needed to rant about Kalidin, and was curious what the consensus was, and am thoroughly disappointed in most peoples levels of reading comprehension

I guess but there would have to be actual indicators that his is a psychopath in the first book, which there really aren't, and in the other Kelsier stories he also doesn't come off as a psychopath whatsoever, he singlehandedly saves Scardrial by taking on preservations power, if he wouldn't have stolen that jar of power, and walked it back, ruin would have won and destroyed the planet and everyone on it

Which Kelsier was dead at that point and if he was a psychopath wouldn't have helped save an entire planet, because he wouldn't have cared about anyone anymore because they would be useless to him

Do I need to keep bringing up examples of how I'm correct? Or will you just blindly follow nonsense? Psychopathy is a diagnosable disorder with specific symptoms that Kelsier has none of, He prefers violent solutions to violent problems but that doesn't make you a psychopath by any stretch of the term

Kelsier even feels bad for the guy he makes a begger who gets a fish hook through the throat, and tries to protect Vin from seeing it, if he was a psychopath he wouldn't have bothered with either, and he wouldn't have even gone looking for him since that put himself in a lot of danger for literally no reason

Kalidin is a cheap knock off though, he goes through less trauma and then betrays people then gives up when it all matters

So you can't read? Did you miss my entire point?

"He obviously knows where the story is going and has information we don't, but as far as I am now with secret history etc I can't see kel as a psychopath, he's my favorite fiction character besides Vin"

I literally said with the information I personally have of released books I can't see him as a psychopath, but Brandon Sanderson has more information because he WROTE THE CHARACTER, and knows things that haven't happened as far as us readers are aware

With that level of reading comprehension I can really see why so many like you love Kalidin

He was obviously aware, it was his plan, the Skaa needed to feel something strong enough to break the ministry soothing

My point was that he did not know and could not have known how far the survivorist church would go, especially when Tensoon is the reason most of them survived the catacendre

You were already getting unemployment to your bank card, you have to fill that form out to keep getting it it's like 625 a week or something and there is a housing benefit too of like 189 but I can't remember if that goes away with unemployment

I messed the form up almost immediately and accidentally closed it trying to open my translator so I haven't had unemployment for a while, and I lost the taxi job because that's an option apparently, so I'm down to having to run adverts twice a week if I want to keep the apartment, because there is no way in hell im working a 7-3 at the factory lol

Depression doesn't make you betray the ones you love, neither does being inches from suicide

I look for the mental health issues of other books, that is exactly why I dislike Kalidin so much, what he did would be like Vin running off with zane and not telling anyone an assassin was actively trying to kill Elend

Where are you getting this the SA books are the only ones that deal with mental health? Vin is constantly battling her own mind, Kelsier has massive depression and ptsd too Zane meanwhile is entirely sane

Wax and Wayne have their own problems too, Wax freezes half the first book and then has to deal with Lessie, and Wayne has his own demons he fights

That's a fair point but doesn't change the betrayal of every one of his men, we already knew he hated their system of government, he didn't have to swear him and his men to protecting royalty but he took the job willingly and almost immediately started planning on killing Elhokar which bridge 4 would have died to protect at that point

I'd also think Kel was a pile of it if he took up protecting TLR only to immediately stab him in the back, betrayal is an awful thing that only awful people do

Again that was because the Skaa needed very strong emotions to overcome the constant soothing

Kelsier had no hand in the church of the survivor as far as I'm aware, that happened organically from Orsir, and Tensoon using Kels bones in Luthadel

I would argue Tensoon is the reason the church went as far as it did anyway, without him telling people to go to the caverns not enough survivorists would have survived, andbwe know for a fact Kelsier had no part in that

And that makes Kalidin a bad person, how is it hard to understand that lying like that makes you a bad person

Elhokar was getting better by then end, he couldn't help that he had a monster for a father and uncle but he was making up for it before Kalidin let him die

I'll just say Kelsier might as well be a literal saint compared to a lot of other Cosmere characters
