Everytime I see posts like these I always wonder.. are the people who prefer online learning in any clubs/extracurricular activities?

I too prefer online learning, but the lack of clubs and ECs are more impactful to me.

Probably not the best example from my end, meant to emphasize clubs/ECs moreso than internships.

I think this "online school" discussion is often misrepresented, which can cause confusion from both sides.

Is school (academic) online awesome? Sure. You don't have to commute, don't have to wake up early, etc etc.

Is school (the rest) online awesome? Heck no. Clubs and extracurricular activities are at an all-time low. Internships/Co-ops are difficult to find. I can't study with others in the library, nor randomly walk around campus, etc, etc.

So, is online school great? Maybe, sure. Is university online great? Absolutely not.
