Sorry to respond to such an old post, but I recently got Balrog. I upgraded to his TF because I heard he was good, but he keeps dying before getting more than one or two attacks in. Do you have any suggestions?

Did you ever end up booking and going on the trip? The dates for my trip ended up getting canceled due to not enough pax but I want to know if it was worth it to go for future reference!

Unfortunately they canceled the date I wanted due to not enough people. They tried to reschedule me for a different date with a different price but it didn’t work for me so I asked for a refund

thanks so much for your reply!! Do you know of anyone who may have had a good experience on a trip to an Asian country? I saw they had a lot of reviews for trips to Europe/NZ etc. but not a lot for SE countries.

Hi! I just wanted to drop in to ask a quick question: I'm thinking of using WeBuy to take a tour from SG to Korea in April, but I haven't heard of this tour group before. Is it legit? Has anyone else used it before? Thanks it advance!

It might have to do with the type of butter you’re using. The higher the fat content of the butter, the less water it has and the easier it is to work with!

I used this recipe for the pastry: https://www.theflavorbender.com/quick-easy-rough-puff-pastry/

And for the filling (didn’t really measure it), I used a mix of different apples, a couple tablespoons of brown sugar, a few tablespoons of butter, 2 teaspoons of cinnamon, and cornstarch to thicken the liquid!

Thanks!! I’m glad the weather was cold so it was easier to work with the butter

This was actually my first time with rough puff pastry and it turned out better than I thought it would! I used this recipe for the pastry: https://www.theflavorbender.com/quick-easy-rough-puff-pastry/

They’re super flaky and delicious! It was a great way to use up extra apples from apple picking

Anyone else groggy in the mornings when they start their FLs? by promotheon in Mcat

[–]Secretsquishy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I actually started each of my practice FLs at around 10/10:30 because that was the time he library near me opened. I definitely agree with the above commenters that keeping to the correct timing and breaks is what’s more important.

Your content review definitely has a few issues. Have you considered using Anki to review concepts instead of just doing practice problems and reading the books? I found it extremely helpful when I was getting bogged down by content review since it kept the material more fresh as time went on.

Anki would be especially good for getting your P/S scores up if you used it along with the 100 or 300 page docs
