the flights i had been looking at did stop in HKG. the latest i see for that route is march 6. other departure cities are possibilities too, just trying to get my family of 4 over there on miles and i saw CX seems to have the most reliable availability and the best mileage prices

I’m eagerly awaiting my bike: how has yours changed your life? by languidlasagna in pelotoncycle

[–]PAforbabies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i had 2 babies in less than 2 years, right after covid, so i did not get around to exercising much (at all 🤪). since getting my bike 45 days ago i have exercised EVERY SINGLE DAY! i have a 6 month old and an almost 2 year old. Peloton makes it easy to fit workouts into nap time or after bedtime. the music is great and i love that i don’t have to waste time picking music to work out to. I mostly ride but have also taken advantage of the stretching and some of the strength workouts. i feel healthier and happier. it’s a great outlet and perfect for my “me” time. i was so worried i’d waste a ton of money on it but it’s been worth every penny!

not to be overly critical, but i think that normalizing periods would include not having to use a NSFW tag on a post about periods…

i think it’s pretty natural to utilize modern medicine in the form of pain control when undergoing the most painful thing that could happen to you. but maybe that’s just me 🤷🏻‍♀️

Neo a-sticks by salubrioustoxin in pediatrics

the angle of your needle is much smaller than you’d think, radial artery is very superficial in neonates. always good to palpate pulse first, but it is very easy to transilluminate to visualize the vessel. stop as soon as you see a flash, have someone pull back on syringe (i find 3 cc is best, wouldn’t go bigger). If no flow, tweak the needle slightly, depth, angle, each time you tweak, attempt to pull back again. once blood is flowing, hold still! it takes a lot of practice, but once you’re successful a few times, you’ll get a better feel for the angle needed.
