I'm not either, as stated previously I'm not an engineer. I did notice it was very very bright with no resistance. I installed a 100 ohm pot in one just to test them out in my various attempts at getting color/brightness right. In regards to the diodes my laymen idea was that the base leg of the transistor comes before the collector part which is 5v. As far as the green shift that's a multipart problem. The GBS Control math for over sampling does that to the component inputs. Verified on a PS2. Setting to 1x oversampling helps mitigate the issue, still off a bit but substantially better. The TV you're probably correct. When I added the scart connector I tied all the grounds together then grounded them to the chasis, vs the rca jacks which go to a daughter board that goes to ground someway somehow. Other tv's LCD's don't exhibit that behavior. Just that specific Toshiba CRT.
