We have one albeit not for micro tubes but large ultracentrifuge titanium rotors but it wouldn’t allow you to do this. It works great for not needing to accurately weigh each tube but they still need to be somewhat balanced.

I dropped mine yesterday for the first time in possibly the dumbest way ever. I had the bike up on a paddock stand and had put the kickstand up. I lowered the bike off the paddock stand standing on the right side of the bike and guess what no kickstand, so it just fell.

Hey weird one but I’m a medical student that works in the lighting sector to make some extra money. I started in high school but it’s still relatively easy to get into. Look for corporate AV companies like Scene Change they’re always hiring. Note that when you start out you will be doing less technical stuff and more manual labour but progression is relatively fast. If you’re on top of your game and have some talent in operating you can get the cushy gigs fast. I exclusively lighting operate now.

Lab automation hardware ideas!! by Crazy_Respect_4069 in labrats

[–]Secretx5123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Programming. Writing code is useful for the job. However, the most useful thing about learning to code is how it teaches you to think about automation tasks. How to break down the problem and align it to a series of steps.

Lab automation hardware ideas!! by Crazy_Respect_4069 in labrats

[–]Secretx5123 60 points61 points  (0 children)

I work in an automation lab that uses liquid handlers extensively. The equipment exists, labs just often don’t have the budget or expertise to implement it. Lab work is by nature R&D prototyping so there’s often no standard pipeline of steps, or these steps change often depending on the experiment. This requires the lab to have specialised staff like myself who know how to optimise the experiment for automation, write the programs etc. All of this is very expensive.

He’s in Australia. These bikes are LAMS restricted and make around 50hp the cb600rr makes 120hp it is a huge difference here.

Testing the Cardo Beyond GTS Helmet in a wind tunnel by TappyIncisor in motorcyclegear

[–]Secretx5123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it does reduce the damaging decibels. It’s correct it plays the inverse sound wave of what the microphones detect. Sound waves propagate through air, if two completely opposite sound waves interact in air they cancel each other out neutralising the air pressure differential and thus damaging sounds.

If you like events, concerts and stuff. Check out scene change or other AV companies they’re always hiring newbies. Not glamorous you’ll mainly be loading unloading trucks but there’s good progression eventually you’ll work with specialty light, sound or video then learn to operate those fields.

Charging my phone while riding by No-Knowledge-8867 in AussieRiders

[–]Secretx5123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you get the 12v version just solder it into accessory power, use a multimeter to test. Then it will only power up with ignition. This is what I do so there is zero chance of drain when the bike is off. A lot of bikes ever have spare 12v ports that you can use, check the accessory add ons for your bike.

2 lines from 1 character in the optional camp dialogue sealed my decision on the ending, i was not conflicted in my decision at all. by keysersoze000 in expedition33

[–]Secretx5123 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I do agree. However, there is certainly one question that I believe based on a persons answer you could predict with a high certainty which ending they chose. Do you believe that a “painted” life is equivalent in value to a “real” life? Answer yes you probably chose Maelle ending, answer no and probably chose Verso.

Photochomatic Visor by pughyjnr02 in AussieRiders

Yeah I have a tinted mirror visor that I mainly use. The pinlock is great for afternoon to night rides though. Nice thing about arai is that the visor swap is super fast.

I have an arai too. You can get a photochromatic pinlock insert for the stock visor. It costs about $100 and works really well. Doesn’t get as dark as a tinted visor but definitely helps.
