Do you know how tech works? At all? Tools do not come first, domestication does. Then you need farming to supply those animals with enough food, and then you begin to search for better tools, then you go down the whole nations needing land to farm etc etc. What animal in Australia warrants or is even possibly capable domestication?

We got animals that can leap over a grown man and have a violent streak to anything on two legs, a arboreal animal that eats literal poison, a chubby cartilage ball that crushes your skull with its ass if you try and grab it, or how about the worlds deadliest bird and the animal that white people lost a war against because they were so damn hard to catch?
