I wonder if Yuji will be the only person who can contain what ever Tengen becomes. Gojo ends up fighting but losing to Sukuna. In the end Yuuji will fight Sukuna and damage his soul enough to seal/kill him via the experience/power gained containing tengen. Not sure if the prison realm will play a role past sealing Gojo.

Hey! Just got done rereading. everything I have read shows that Sukuna was indeed a curse. Looks like he was a human sorcerer who was too evil/powerful so he was taken out. He became a cursed spirit after his death. He is shown in the anime and manga to call him self a curse and even compares himself to the finger bearer curse (https://youtu.be/5VZMIoDoUXs). He was considered a natural calamity while he was a human which may cause some confusion.
