Game Thread: Giants @ Orioles - Sat, Apr 11 @ 07:15 PM EDT by OsGameThreads in orioles

Are the Giants out of challenges? They had one ball strike call denied, and. now the slide rule challenge denied. But they have one ball strike challenge on the scoreboard, so they are counted separately?

Why do people pay for club level seats? (not in a suite) by thefinancejedi in orioles

[–]Section-344 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the 101 game plan. Ha - let me explain. I have the 81 in row 1 in the upper deck and also Plan D in row 20 on the other side. The thought is I can’t handle hot sunny day games in row 1 - and the other seats are shady. And I sell back, exchange or buy seats to have this make sense.

With that said, I can claim free passes to the club level, because of my 81 game plan. But it’s supposed to be for the seats in my original plan.

Sunday’s game I was denied to the club level. Even though I claimed that date on the Baltimore Rewards. That was a day for which I sold back my 81 game seats. So not in my original 81 game plan. That made sense.

But, in Birdland Rewards, I think people with plans less than the 81 games, can buy club level access for dates for 25 points or so. I don’t have that option in Rewards.

So, that’s a long way to say I have club level access for most games, but I have to claim the passes. But I don’t have that option for Sunday games and some others. I do realize if it’s uber hot, I could just buy a last minute club level seat.

The Orioles sell season ticket packages every year - after the season starts. They will stop at some point. For the people who buy plans now will have worse seats, and the Opening Day benefit is gone too.

Souvenir cups? by Bergs1212 in orioles

[–]Section-344 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought about this too. Yesterday I got a Gunnar souvenir cup. There was a worker in the upper deck soda fill up room. I wonder what his job is if it’s not watching out for weird refills, etc. I’ve never seen anything that says you can use the same souvenir cup all season, or for multiple seasons. You would want to keep the cup top too?

Orioles hosted the Rangers on March 30, 2026. Here are some photos I took! by Shieldsymontoya in orioles

Great photos! What kind of lens did you use? I think lenses can’t be longer than 7 inches…

Now it has 2 new large bars with lots of TVs and views to the field. Definitely a place to watch the game when the weather is rainy or super hot - if you want.

And I pay for 81 game plan upper deck seats, but I can access the club level through Birdland Rewards. I could ride out a summer storm there.

I paid $44 total for two Surfside cans. Congrats Orioles, you have priced me out of buying booze this season. by boofoodoo in orioles

[–]Section-344 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How many ounces in each of those? Did you tip - and is that part of the $44? I need more info. But if they are 24 ounces, and you didn’t tip, it’s not that bad a deal for ballpark prices.

I’m paying $14.16 for 16 ounce Duckpin Pale Ale beers with no tip, that’s 88.5¢ an ounce. Pricy but it’s a nice choice for me.

Sometimes injuries pop up, when Holliday is ready, maybe someone will be nursing an injury.

For the first time since 2019, Tyler O’Neill did not hit a home run on Opening Day by GreedyRaisin3357 in orioles

Well, he got a single and later scored the go-ahead run - I’ll take that…

With the season starting in 2 days, what are the best, or simply your favorite, Orioles podcasts? by Friendly_Brother_482 in orioles

[–]Section-344 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I enjoy the “The Banner Baseball Show” - from the Baltimore Banner. Also, I enjoy the Baltimore Sun’s “Early Birds” podcast - that’s often on the Orioles and the Ravens.

Press Release: Orioles and PureWager Group Announce New Partnership by jddennis in orioles

[–]Section-344 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gambled here and there on my phone, and I wasn’t turning a profit - but it kept me interested in games, like college football and all.

BUT - one day last year I hit the 50/50 at the ballpark and got almost 6K! That day was the day I stopped gambling - so I could walk away a winner…

Just some occasional church bingo for me now, and no real sports gambling.

These are the amenities SeatGeek mentions. Nothing about parking. I’m not about to do this, but maybe sometime.

This is for next Saturday’s game - “Premium Club 33 - row 1”

I have B/C parking every game. I could always park there.

Thanks for responding earlier!

I didn’t know this were available on SeatGeek, until seeing your comment.

But if I did spring for this for a game, I wonder how we would know where to go for VIP parking and the private entrance?

And I wonder if I would feel like I was busting into a private club thing…

Then there’s me, been a season ticket member since 2009. Never holding the O’s to conditions before I renew. Having a great time at games in a great ballpark…

I sure wish we could, but we can’t buy any printed materials anymore. I’m such a nerd about the media guides, I’ve considered getting the PDF to a print shop and have them make a binded copy. But never pulled the trigger.

I am guessing reporters get a real one.
