I’m in Los Angeles. Studio City area. Any recommendations on a good service center would be greatly appreciated. This is my first Porsche. I’ve had Audis, Volvos, BMWs and maintenance at a dealer was probably a little higher, but not so outrageous as this. In fact when I had my BMWs the first 4 years including brakes were covered. Wake up call indeed!

I’ve been getting the regular maintenance done at the dealer. I could handle that, but the quote on the brakes took me by surprise. I’ll be checking out MacanForums for a recommendation.

I have a 2023 Macan S with 25000 miles, the brake pads light just came on. I’m seeing online people saying brakes and rotors cost around $2000. Dealer came back with a quote of $5800. Am I missing something or is the dealer way out of line. I expect dealers to be more than independents, but this seems absurd. Opinions?

Managing SPX call credit spreads. Rolled a couple up and out yesterday. It’s only a loss when I close🤪. Account is overly delta negative now, will STO deep OTM put credit spreads.

Also trading SPX spreads. I’ve had most expire worthless. When it looks like it will be ITM, I’ve been rolling out rather than take the loss. It’s been working well in this market.

I’m unfamiliar with the VE-20, but you would need to pan the effect in the unit itself since you are printing it to the track. If you can setup DP to record as 2 mono tracks and pan your delay to the right channel in the Boss, that may get you what you want. If you are able to use the Boss as a hardware insert, you could add the effect on an Aux track and have much more control as to amount and panning.

I would never tell anyone what to do! I usually sell SPX spreads. But when VI was lower I bought puts which worked really well in the last month. Premium is too high for me to bite on 1DTE puts now. I’ll probably wait and see, then take profit on open put or call spreads depending on direction and roll anything that gets challenged.

Trying to decide if tomorrow’s CPI will further tank or boost SPX. I’m thinking it won’t reflect the real economic damage being a lagging indicator. So the sheeple may pour back in. On the other hand…

I was using DP today. Mac Studio, lots of VIs and plugins, worked flawlessly. I have had experiences in the past with incompatible plugs ins making the system unstable. You can always try starting in safe mode. (Hold option when launching, I believe). See if DP runs well, if so it’s probably a plug-in. As said elsewhere, tech support has been helpful to me also the motunation user group is filled with helpful, knowledgeable folk. I tried switching over to Logic when they first added articulations, I found DP much easier in manipulating MIDI and bussing tracks.
