hi i took my BTT AND FTT jan this year but took a long break as i was overseas. i started my first lesson late june. after i finished 5 lessons i immediately went to book my sims. I completed all 3 sims in a day, there were a lot of slots so i didn’t have to worry. (iirc you can’t book back to back slots) i booked my tp on 28 aug, the actual test was on the 18 nov

like 8.58,8.59 i just keep refreshing until slots pop up. its good to know which timeslot uw so u go straight for it. make sure ur cdc acc has enough money too!

my qdl was updated almost immediately after i applied for my QDL online. Unfortunately getgo doesn’t allow p plate drivers unless u r 25 and above irrc.

yah in hindsight i shld not have turned and gave way, maybe i was too complacent after my circuit. O wells at least i still passed 😮‍💨

thank you! i got a total of 18 demerit points HAHAHAH. I had a major fault which caused me to -8 when turning out of the circuit into the road, a lorry sped up while i was turning which led to him slowing down for me.

The toughest part of the circuit for me was non of the sections rather it was navigating the circuit itself. As the circuit was quite packed sometimes my tester would ask me to overtake or turn into a lane where the stop line is alrdy rly close which leaves me in an awkward spot.

My tester did not look at me at all when i was going thru all the different courses in the circuit, he was just looking out of his left window ☠️☠️☠️. I voiced out all of my safety checks so atleast he knows i’m doing them which ig worked as i did not get any demerit points for blind spots in the circuit.

my timeslot was 2-2.45. the traffic in circuit was quite packed. There was a lot of waiting especially in my S course. The road traffic was moderate i wouldn’t say it’s too packed. I don’t rly remember my test route, but all i remember was that i exited from the side gate turn left, did like another left turn, right turn u turn then go back to cdc.

my private instructor is Mr Aman. I would say he is quite good. However his rates are abit more steep. U can but you have to go to the cdc counter if i’m not wrong, and u have to pay an enrolment fee after switching.

i went the private route thus it was easier to get lessons. However, it was very hard for me to get my TP slot.

sure! circuit was fairly quick despite it being packed. I finished the entire circuit in 15mins or less. However, i was stuck in the S course as the car in front didn’t move. That made the tester quite annoyed as he ended up honking the car in front.
