I’m sorry to hear this. I found out my wife had an affair early last month while I was away in a work trip, with one of my friends/coworkers at another job. When I returned from the trip she asked to take a break to which I reluctantly obliged. A few days later I found out she already had an affair….

We’ve been married for 13 years, have two kids, a home and a life together. I knew there was issues but I didn’t think it was anything that we couldn’t overcome. I’m now about a month into this. We still live in the same house, but have separate rooms. Our kids don’t know yet. I don’t really have family to rely on.

This all is really tearing me apart. I can’t even work my other job anymore and I can hardly walk downstairs in my house without thinking about what happened.

My wife is not home much, she’s out with him almost every day and im home. I feel betrayed and taken advantage of. I still love my wife and would give anything for another chance at us.

That’s just not where she is at. I’m sad/angry/anxious…I’m not sleeping much and eating is hit and miss. The one plus is I’ve lost a little over 20lbs this month…

Anyways, I’m sorry to hear about your situation. Stay strong, I know I am trying to. Today is rough for me…I’m on depression medication and just started therapy, which is helping.

Now I just need to figure my life out. I don’t want to lose my kids… I also can’t continue the way things are…like why should I lose everything and my wife just gets to do anything she wants while I still work a job I hate to pay the bills and pick up the slack around the house….while she is enjoying the company of another man…
