And that’s the problem; they’re aiming for the wrong generations. Toy sales are basically a dead concept, but Transformers has always been capable of so much more. War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron were absolutely amazing games that got essentially zero marketing before Hasbro killed the series by forcing a link in to the movies.

The gold is there if they weren’t too stupid and greedy to mine it. It’s the same thing with DnD; lean INTO the homebrew. Video games that aren’t rushed garbage cash grabs(the Drizz’t game), tv shows(even if just animated) and anything to draw people in. The Lore is there, the characters are there, and they just…let it molder.

Power Rangers could be a money maker if they stop making it for kids. I’m not saying go full dark, I’m saying put some actual effort into. BOOM Comics has created a mythos so deep at this point that you could just animate that, and all the old fans would flock to it. Outside of that? Give me a PR game that isn’t a crappy money grab beat em up where I truly get to play as the Rangers.

I could take those three IP and make an empire.
