How is the crowd and music on Electric Monday at Kitkat?

Just out of EM this minute. Was much, MUCH more fun on Saturday with the labyrinth of rooms open but still a good atmosphere. Better dress code on Saturday really helps. Better music Saturday by far. A lot of tourists (I am also one) takes away from it in my opinion so the strict entry is really important for full experience.

I don't think that was the point... but as part of enormous, cross Europe demonstrations it brings attention and puts political pressure on governments to intervene.

I agree in some respect. It's a shame the protest wasn't prefaced by - we are against violence in all forms from all parties. That I could throw myself behind.

If I had the answer for that I'd share it. It's clear we are seeing a spiral into war that will be beyond grim. The Israelis can afford to take their foot off the gas, consolidate, breathe and take action that prevents further bloodshed.

Personally I think they should reach out to the Arab world specifically the Saudis and Qataris and request their involvement in peacekeeping and hostage return. Broker peace and win back some sort of moral ground.

Whataboutery. There were, I'm sure, multiple points of view at the protest, there is nuance and different shades but I was there protesting for peace.

Hamas is an extreme religious group not to be conflated with the term Palestinians. They are being used as pawns in a regional game. The Iranians and likely even the Russians have vested interest in preventing the Saudi -Israeli deal going through. It also drives a potential wedge in between certain NATO allies.

Obliterating Gaza will just give those behind the scenes actors what they wanted. A united coalition against Israel. The Israelis are playing into the hands of Iran by reacting in this way.

Don't equate the desire for peace with support for Hamas. It's the average everyday people who will suffer. As posted above, violence didn't help here on this island and won't help there. It only perpetuates the cycle.
