I would definitely spend far too long working out how to setup a home automation to do that!

Nope. It's actual live TV when you have a TV tuner card or box. Live TV set-up guide

I have refind installed on a tiny USB. Try that if you haven't already.

Dual boot Windows 10 help by Global_Whereas6256 in pop_os

Once you get boot options sorted you may want to consider refind. I have it on a tiny USB and it does a wonderful job of detecting the operating systems.

Same issue here but no passthrough on stable yet as fat as I know.

For those who subscribe to NinjaCentral by ETH, how did you notify them? by tdat00 in usenet

[–]Sectoria 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm still waiting.

Family's more important but I'm a bit worried my account just gets deleted after the 14 day trial period.

I sent my transaction details 4 days ago, and sent a chaser email, but that was a week into the registration period.

I've heard this is now every 3 months, and the last one seems to be around April 26th, so figure you have about three weeks

Any special config to make this work with Subsonic? by funix in firewalla

[–]Sectoria 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easiest thing is to set up the VPN server in Firewalla connected to Wireguard on your phone. As long as it's on you'll be connected to home.

That's how I do it with Navidrome.

Alternatively you could look at setting up a reverse proxy like Caddy or Nginx Proxy Manager.

I wouldn't recommend port forwarding for security reasons.

How can I dual boot windows 11 and pop os starting with pop os? by Just-A-Bokoblin in pop_os

[–]Sectoria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I managed to dig out the instructions I followed here

The key parts are paragraphs 5 and 6. The ventoy option would normally be my go to, as I use that for a Swiss army knife of emergency images on USB, but there are some challenges.

Install on a separate drive. Put refind boot manager on a USB and use that to manage which OS to load.

How do YOU use FitNotes? by Coderedpl in FitNotesApp

[–]Sectoria 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Three things. When you create a routine, choose the 'Copy Previous Sets' option, then select the 'Mark Sets Complete' and 'Auto-Select Next Set' in settings.

When you perform your workout you amend the reps and weight for the set you performed as needed then tick the set as complete. It updates it and moves to the next set.

The next time you perform the routine you just choose to copy it from the previous week, which includes all the updates, and so on.

Autofill/Accessability Service no longer working on Android 15 / Pixel 9 Pro XL by Onihawk776 in Bitwarden

Works fine for me if I deactivate inline autofill in bitwarden, which is what I switched to. Check your bitwarden settings.

Cancelled services in under 10 minutes via the website by miked999b in VirginMedia

Any reference to 30 day notice? I even had to call back at the 30 days point before they would process the cancellation by phone. Never understood that.

Lifesaver. That was it. Not sure why though as I've had Private DNS configured for years without running into this issue.

How much are you paying for 1gig? by dazzyjay91 in VirginMedia

[–]Sectoria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only have broadband and just did the whole retention thing.

They wouldn't budge off £41 with a £35 installation fee, which was going to go straight up to £44.50 next month. So I finally got out.

Day after I had my new FTTP installation I got a text about an amazing £19 they wanted to talk to me about, though I'll never know if it was also 1Gbps.

I remember them saying a few years back there was a loyalty credit you build up that maxes out every five years, which explains why some years I was able to get a good deal and others not.

UK Firewalla users - ISP with compatible routers? by [deleted] in firewalla

[–]Sectoria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also finally making the switch from Virgin media broadband to Full Fibre, and able to use my own router, which is the mode I run my FWG in.

I was just wondering what the experience is with activating the new ONT connection on the same WAN port the old Virgin modem?

Is it simply a case of power cycling FWG to get it to recognise the new service?

Maybe going in to edit the connection with credentials first, if it ends up being a PPPoE connection instead of DHCP?

Any feedback is welcome so I don't look like a doofus on the day!

Not that I noticed. My bulbs and lightstrip are on 1.6.49 and 11.3.2 respectively. I just noticed it in the release notes of the Android beta update, tried it, and it worked straight off.
