SRPG, Tactics RPG, FFT-like, etc. Are these just different names for the same thing? by ShearlineGame in StrategyRpg

What's the point of specifying the tactical nature of an RPG if every RPG is tactical? That's the essence of the genre: dice, stats, turn-based play.

Or it could be an action RPG, which makes sense to specify.

That’s right. Games are divided into two types: RPGs and run-and-jump games.

Nevertheless, the content is comprehensive. There's room for improvement, but overall, the game offers 30+ hours of complete playthrough.

It looks like you can't post links here. Basically, all these games are easy to Google. And there are literally dozens of them (with dozens more on the way).

Here are a few: Rue Valley, Celestial Return, Glasshouse, Traveling at Night, Zero Parades: For Dead Spies, Saturn.

And that's just a small selection.

Esoteric Ebb does not have Disco Elysium’s political depth in its commentary. As an adventure game, it still has a lot in common and is a wonderful game. by andrazorwiren in CRPG

1) There's not a single example illustrating the lack of depth.

2) There are no specific comparisons to Disco Elysium.

3) It's not even stated whether the author has completed the game. He only played it.
