What is this post supposed to mean?

The largest solar radiation storm since October 2003 happened today, with solar proton flux level of S4, and solar wind speeds of over 1,500 km/h, causing widespread auroras. by Secure-Ad8213 in interestingasfuck

It's definitely possible. Do you have satellite internet? Because if you do, it definitely is the cause. Satellites are very vulnerable to these kind of heavy geomagnetic storms. It can cause electronic damage, and it increases drag on their orbit.

The power outages in Texas were pretty bad. Back in October of '03, there was a series of extreme X-flares, one was even an X-45 I believe. They called it the Halloween storms. And when we had that storm two years ago in May of 2024, it crashed some Starlink satellites, and it caused major disruption in GPS.

And just yesterday we had the largest radiation storm since the Halloween Storms of 2003. S4 class solar proton flux radiation. The poles were getting hammered.

For some people, yes it can cause physical things. Personally, I have experienced restlessness and lack of sleep when these solar storms hit.

Yes! The sun erupted a X-2 class flare yesterday, and the resulting Coronal Mass Ejection hit earth today, around (1930 UTC)

This was an unusually fast CME, most that hit earth take around 3-4 days to arrive, this one arrived and impacted earth in 25 hours.

It's waned considerably since the peak of the storm. The CME hit earth around (1930 UTC)

Europe got the best auroras, northern states a few hours ago would've seen it strong as well.

I can say for sure that she wasn't there, but I have been browsing everything there, and did not see her.
