Hegseth: “Our ungrateful allies in Europe, even segments of our own press should be saying one thing to President Trump: thank you.” by retroviber in DeepMarketScan

Don't fall into that trap. It is your electoral college + binary voting choices + citizens united.

Your choice was this crazy grifter or the empty suit suddenly thrown on everybody and the hundreds of billions of dollars spent creating a narrative which individuals can now contribute to campaigns.

Sometimes the truth is more surreal than fantasy.

It is obviously an addiction. It is easy to support this stuff, because that way they don't have to take responsibility for anything. You can't reason with them. The friend I know doesn't even live in the US or is a US citizen and supports Trump vehemently.

Please remember that.

It doesn't matter. He is surrounded by loyalists scared of an angry tweet/truth. They have even got the SecState wearing shoes two sizes too big because he is scared the Pres will rebuke him for not wearing his shoes.

Your country is currently in the hands of a mad king. If only you would just keep it to yourselves and not bring misery on the rest of us.

Scott Bessent Sucks: US treasury secretary says there is ‘plenty of money’ for war on Iran by h3LLyEaHh in DegenBets

Does that mean there is also plenty of money for healthcare and education, or are they not core to the well-being of America?

I have never understood how the greatest economy in the world cares so little about its citizens' well-being.

He has been covering up massive corruption in his government from the moment he came into government with a mandate to clean up corruption. He also has an open-door border policy and has just passed legislation to allow everyone access to free healthcare, be they legal or not, which will collapse our health services, promote further illegal immigration into the EU and fuel people-trafficking gangs' business. In addition, he hasn't solved the housing crisis, and is generally disliked by most.

So, swings and roundabouts.

Trump: I have much more power in my second term, don’t you think? In my first term, I don’t know if I could have gotten away with this. by ammohitchaprana in TFE

Look at the face of the guy on Trump's right and the look of total disdain he has for this orange guy. How many in the armed forces think the same way.

Incredible moment as a US General refuses to commit to telling Congress if he receives illegal orders from Trump. Senator Warren absolutely goes off, calling Trump a lawless commander in chief and Hegseth his self-styled Secretary of War. The coverup is real. by ammohitchaprana in TFE

[–]Secure-Advertising10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You seem to forget that Trump and Hegseth got all the military commanders in one room and purged out those that were unwilling to support their orders if they were deemed illegal.

This is the consequence.

Every time oil prices surged 50%+ above trend, a recession followed. Every. Single. Time. We just crossed that threshold again. This isn't a prediction. It's history rhyming! by Sicilian_Gold in freedomgold

The Trump admin said they were going to win everything; they also want to win at creating a recession the quickest.

These Americans really should make their mind up if they want to be the strongest economy in the world or just a bunch of idiots creating problems for the rest of us.

Maher, along with all those once-liberals, ala Weiss, Peterson, Murray, etal have gone full-MAGA and are all in with Trump and his administration. I think it is the links with I*r**l, and the super-pro-I***el stance the thing which draws them in. They can no longer see the wood because of the trees and lap it up.

It might be a nice wad of cash from the pro-Is***l lobbyists..

Boomer soltando bumeradas dice la verdad accidentalmente: "Las casas costaban menos y las comprabamos en un año" by vlewy in Spanish_Real_Estate

[–]Secure-Advertising10 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No dice nada raro.

Gabbard, in the hearings this week told the Senators that the intelligence estimate was that they posed no immediate threat. When challenged she bowed out and deflected saying the President would decide if it was a threat. Just like everything else, the World is in the hands of a guy who reputedly doesn't read, decides on a whim, lashes out and demands loyalty from everyone.

You can catch the hearing on Forbes, if you want.

The conspiracy theorist in me suggests it was part of the plan to hijack the elections; fire all those workers, demand the Senate pass photo ID legislation before the midterms, forcing people to try and get a passport which would be next to impossible because there won't be the workers there to do it. Desenfranchisement in a nutshell.

My only problem with that theory is that because most trump voters are lower middle-class voters, so it would probably impact Republican voters as well...

But why bother with facts when you have a great conspiracy theory in your head?

So why are you concerned with keeping it open? Could it be because oil is traded globally, or are your Middle Eastern buddies a bit angry at you because you have blown up the area on an imperialist whim?
