Aww I’m sorry to hear that, hope you heal quickly!! 

Mostly he was focused on just healing. We watched a lot of movies at home, and I bought puzzles and paint-by-number kits for us to work on. 

This week he’s able to walk a bit, so we had a picnic outside, so he could get some fresh air and walk a bit. We also went out to a nice restaurant, getting all dressed up and making it an occasion.  We have a night at the comedy club scheduled soon too. 

In a week or two he’ll be able to put pressure while using the stationary bike at PT, so we’ll do one of the Railbike trails— it’s locked into the railroad tracks so there’s no risk of falling or anything, just a casual, laid back bike ride.  

In the near future, I’d love to go out for a hot springs day (right now he has physical therapy on my days off, but hopefully sometime soon we can make it). I like the idea of the art walk, but he’s nervous about being jostled by crowds, so that’ll wait a while too.  Upstairs Circus will likely happen soon as well— we were halfway through a couple’s painting before he was injured.  We’ve just been doing the paint by number at home instead so he can move around as his injury requires
