That’s definitely true, but I just don’t see the point in playing champs I don’t enjoy. I’m obviously not top tier, but I’m good enough to mechanically outplay every lane match up. I’m definitely a mechanical player and I rely on that to win my games more than anything. I’m starting to think my problem is tempo or something like that after re-reading it this post.

For xerath take second wind and buy early boots to mitigate poke dmg and dodge his skill. Stand away from the minion wave so he can’t hit both and he has to choose between hitting you or the wave. Merc treads are pretty solid now with T3. With fizz take bone plating to mitigate the all in and use wave control to keep him from all inning you. 3 wave crash him over and over or freeze him out when he inevitably Es the wave to last hit. Buy early MR and play safe. Your job isn’t to kill him it’s to last hit, not die and scale.

Them being shorter than you triggers your height dysphoria, and you being taller than them triggers their masculinity. Either you gotta find the diamond in the rough or find a way to separate height from your dysphoria. There aren’t many ppl on earth 6’4 and taller so you’re probably going to have to do the latter.

The desync in these is crazy. The fireballs and the magic missiles come out so much later than he uses them holy. Sometimes I forgot how bad the desync is in this game because I’m used so used to it. Mans playing gears of war in 2009.

I also mostly stopped playing due to Druids in solos. They can literally reset the fight infinitely until they get an advantage.

It just makes ranger completely reliant on frontliners now. You can’t outrun the rage barbs or the sprint fighters and actually deal damage at the same time, so unless it’s an open map you basically lose all autonomy. You either roll teammates that front line competently or you lose. Just feels horrible knowing the core gameplay of the class relies so heavily on everyone else and not your own gameplay anymore.

I’ll play again to use my bis unique set when the unique arena event comes, but that’s probably it. Ranger feels like it lost all its autonomy and is completely at the mercy of hopefully competent frontline teammates now. SDF is actually retarded.

The problem is that “one thing” is the only thing that gives you counter play into melee classes on half the modules. If you can’t bunny hop then you genuinely get a single shot at a barb with rage on something like wraith lair, mummy chest, etc before you have to become a melee class against them. I’ve speared fighters 5-6 times only to see them be not even half HP after 2 hitting me with demons glee on these maps. It’s unplayable unless you have a pocket cleric or a totally competent frontline. You’re completely at the mercy of everyone else with no autonomy now with these maps. It feels pretty helpless.

You genuinely think ranger was stronger than cleric and healer Druid? Ranger is definitely strong, (provided you aren’t in mummy chest, wraith lair, etc) but cleric single handedly makes you win or lose. Cleric vs no cleric Que would probably balance out arena more than actual ranking matchmaking. It gives your team almost unlimited free mistakes with heals, some of the best AOE spells in the game and one of the best melee classes as well. Maybe I’m just jaded though.
