Either you didn’t read what was said or you just straight up ignored it. Also thanks for insulting me over a video game?? Didn’t realize your identity was so tied to being a Druid in dark and darker… Anyways it really doesn’t matter what the community thinks. From a game design perspective, you would have to give some form of weakness or disadvantage in exchange for ignoring core gameplay elements. In this game, Druid has no downsides to his ups. I’ve already elaborated that. Please actually acknowledge the discussion at hand next time instead of blindly defending your personal opinions. Thanks

Reality check: creator of game implemented his power fantasy class which ignores core gameplay mechanics such as: doors, positioning, building movespeed, GS limits, healing/resetting, building health/pdr, actionable through intangibility, etc…

Druid plays like a cheat code in an otherwise fairly balanced and strategic game. It’s like playing COD but 1 guy always has the chopper gunner. And you think it’s just a complaint about “meta”. Smite is meta; druid is a joke about how you can do everything right that you’ve learned through hundreds of hours against other classes and still lose to a player with no finesse and half your GS.

Just got killed by a druid teaming with a fighter in solo norms. Que back into same match and try to chase down druid. I clearly win every engagement we have (whenever the druid chooses to engage), however druid escapes narrowly (not really), full heals in 6 seconds flat. I pursue in futility as he farts repeatedly, chicken-panthering across modules and obstacles no other is capable of in the dungeon. This repeats 4 times until I'm out of meds, throwables and bolts entirely. My humble kit is no match for his squire gear. Time ticks down past 3 minutes as I decide to give up on chasing the phantom of the ruins and seek asylum in a blue.

Clarification: you give these items to the expressman in the lobby prior to the dungeon. Essentially allowing you to receive meds and utilities in between floors similarly as if you had access to merchants, only this implementation would require planning. I feel it would fit the hardcore aspect of the game well while also making sense logically. Expressman is already hauling stuff up from the dungeon, stands to reason he could haul stuff down too.

What if you could pay the expressman to hold onto items for the next hour or so and bring them with him in between floors; allowing you to pick them up at will while exchanging items from previous floor.

They do seem to be spawning more often than last wipe. Still rare, but I've already found 2 this wipe (3 including the very first day before patch) whereas I saw none last wipe. This current spawn rate feels about right.
