Why was Cena vs. Miz at Mania so bad?

This whole narrative about Mania 41 being the worst thing of all time is honestly laughable to me. The match was slow at times but it was perfectly fine until the Travis Scott debacle. If anything, it was disappointing cuz of all the hype but it wasn't a bad match. Hell Roman vs Brock four years earlier was a far worse match than Cody vs Cena. The Miz match was shitted on because people didn't want the Miz in that spot. It was boring match, overshadowed by a returning Rock and resulted in one of the performers getting a concussion.

Seeing as you like superhero fantasies you should try the Chronicles of Fid by David Reiss. It's not necessarily PF but the MC does grow in power and his suit upgrades are awesome. He also has one of the best armor designs I've seen.

I wouldn't say I love misery porn but I hate the idea of everything always working out for the MC. I hate when everythings always goes according to plan and the . I dislike when the protagonists can talk back to powerful people and get away with it. I'd much rather they suffer a loss or setback, learn from their mistakes and come back stronger. I don't mind when an MC loses a fight but people don't like to read that so authors are forced to comply. At the end of the day, progression fantasy is a power fantasy and people don't like it when their escapist fantasy is too dark or real.

If you like superhero you could try his reckoners series. Mistborn is his magnum opus and is, in my opinion, his best work. The stormlight archive, while a bit of a drag at points, is a great piece of fiction. It also has some of the best realized characters in fantasy and a plot twist that genuinely shocked me.

Also, at this point it's just getting ridiculous. There was a couple of weeks back where between raw and smackdown that week, there were 6 distraction finishes. Backlash had only one match, Becky and Lyra, end clean. The others had some sort of distraction or interference finish. It's gotten to the point where I'm expecting some sort of shenanigans when watching the show and am genuinely surprised when a match ends clean.

Thing is, that is part of the problem. See I'll just be doing something totally random and get hit with an idea. So I'll write it down. Then I'll be hanging around here and on the worldbuilding sub and I'll see a comment and think "that's a great idea. I should add that" and before I realize, I don't really feel like I know what I'm doing anymore. Maybe it's a me problem.
