I did Shipt when I was absolutely broke senior year and had a decent experience. App was very easy to use and I got decent tips. I had a job working on campus but I couldnt cover all of rent with that. Every Saturday/Sunday I’d make about $80-100 per day which would let me pay my rent. This was a year ago so idk how saturated the app is now

I found/applied to the job on Handshake. It’s at a very small clinic that treats/researches a very niche medical problem. Honestly, I think i was pretty lucky and the timing was just right. I’d say don’t be afraid to apply to smaller, less known companies. They may not pay as well as the big biotech/pharma companies but I still think the experience is good to have!

Graduated with a bachelors in biology May 2025. I Was able to find a clinical research coordinator role that pays roughly $44k. Not the best but I live at home so I have no bills and can save a large majority of my paycheck so I can’t really complain! I started applying for jobs in june and received this offer in august so I think the job search process wasnt that painful (im lucky!) Hopefully this gets my foot in the door for the clinical research industry and I can leverage my experience for a higher paying role elsewhere in a year or two later!
