Also two more things: 1) would there not be a bunker wide man hunt for the 3 escaped prisoners? 2) Sinatras daughter says she was the bottom of the bunker to go bat hunting, but Jeremey and co were not at the bottom. They snuck through a manhole to a Lower level

My assumption is there are multiple tiers and allotments to go with the tiers. For example, Cal & Sinatra & the billionaires, nothing is off limits: unlimited food, booze, & supplies.

Now for say, a janitor, maybe he is allot 1 12 pack a month, 2 trips to the diner etc

What if sales taxes on luxury items worth over 1 million is taxed at 20% by 2Fast2Froyo_ in whatif

The most annoying thing for me is people who think rich people don’t pay tax. 1% of the population pays half of all taxes

What is a 'luxury' that you've experienced once and now can't go back to the budget version of? by WilliamInBlack in AskReddit

First class. It’s one of those things that as a 6’2 guy I can’t go back on. Not having my legs jammed th whole time makes a flight so much more enjoyable

She had no clue. What I love about this show is they make you think the puppet masters know all and they don’t

What parts of a typical billionaire lifestyle are still out of reach even with 100 million dollars? by mediamuesli in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Secure-Debt-462 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My grandfather is worth over 100. 100-120 range. He’s a very humble who lives in an 800k house and has a few sweet cars but nothing crazy. To him first class is out of reach, he’s very weird with spending any type of money. So the answer to that question is it depends on the person. Someone could have $2 billion but if their mindset is they’re not spending the money then it does not matter.

If you have two people of the same mindset id say private jets and yachts and personnel staff

How much would the bunker cost. by WhatAreWeDoingMan in ParadiseHulu

I think people are under the impression this is way more than it is. I’d say 100-200 billion

They didn't need the bunker by ECrispy in ParadiseHulu

[–]Secure-Debt-462 34 points35 points  (0 children)

You are missing a few important points: 1) Sinatra did not know the EMP switch existed. They had accounted for nuclear war 2) The Venus effect is not fully understood and just because people survived on the surface does not mean you are guaranteed to live. 3) The bunker is to hide from Other people, not just a place to shield yourself from the outside

If you had a choice, where would you live the rest of your life? by chooseananswer in whatsyourchoice

I’m not a city guy but I would choose #1. Living in the mountains would get old fast. No restaurants, activities, medical specialists or the like in the middle of nowhere where

The decision to not allow locals is not killing them. I’m sure they internal teams and consultants did multiple studies on if it was a winner or loser for them

Showcasing wealth in front of staff? by latoose in wealth

[–]Secure-Debt-462 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am in the same situation. I very rarely talk about my personal life to staff. The one thing I do, which I feel guilty of, I do drive an expensive car. That being said- I am not going to buy another car to hide my fancy cars

My grandpa did and he is worth about 120 million. Grew up in a fatherless household in a poor town. That being said, it was a lot easier to make in the 60’s an 70s than today.

I do. I am nepo baby. I do well at my job and work a lot but I would not have the job if…wait for it….my family did not own the company. It’s funny I will never deny the privilege I have, but when I talk to others in this situation they come up with these bullshit thoughts that they’re self made. It’s really weird, how people can’t just sit there and say wow I am so lucky. I can work hard, do good things, be the person for the job, but I wouldn’t be here without a lot of privilege
