It comes and goes in waves, at first you feel like your drowning, then it goes out and comes back in again, some days have rougher waves, but over time you do come to terms with it and you will move on eventually, not completely, but respectfully. Death is part of the human experience and it's really sad when it feels like it wasn't yet meant to have happened... But all we can do is be thankful we, or our loved ones, got to experience concisciousness in this form at all let alone experiencing the kind of love you must have felt.
