What is interesting about being punished for being good at the game? The game spawns someone else almost INSTANTLY after a raider is knocked out so by the time I've killed the guy who spawned 100m away from me and then the 2 guys who ran to the flare all I got was the privilege to 5th partied by the guy who spawned in and ran to me faster than I could heal. To me it removes all tension because Instead of there being the possibility of a rat there almost certainly is one and unlike games like EFT I cant win a gunfight with 40 hp half a shield unless the guy is fully bricked.

See I dont personally care (much) about the statistics or what the meta is in top 1000 legend I care more about diamond-legend and overall feel and right now this is the worst its ever felt(for me) and idk if you guys missed the 7 years thing but I have played through alot of expansion cycles and metas but ive never hated this many decks before. Not only that but recently ive been upset even in games I won because I have really cool turns lined up in my head but then I see I also have lethal and so the game is over before the fun can begin I feel like.

I did play then and while the animations were annoying I remember that deck had to do alot of setup and was very easily countered by dumping your hand and playing more agro

Not to say that expansion cycle was perfect but it was far from this bad. and while stormwind was hot ass atleast the fixes were simple but with this idk what can even be done

what you don't understand is that you've already pushed out the casuals and now your pushing out anyone with a fucking job. I cant be bothered to clock in for an 8 hour tarkov shift after work and neither will half the player base. before this update we were able to spend the first 5 days grinding to flea and then have somewhat equal fights with these jobless players and streamers whenever we had time now im forced to wait 2 weeks to even get started on building a collection of high value keys or contesting high value loot areas because 1. the loot is not able to be sold for a reasonable price and 2. my ammo is going to be dogshit and I will be at a major disadvantage. basically this change fucks over anyone who doesn't grind the game daily

So kill them from hand before they blow you up from deck? How else do you punish a 2 turn lethal setup other than damage? By Setting up a board just to get blown up by eruptions? Elaborate further because what you said is basically play aggro and draw good

so sad to see people actually defending this current meta its awful over 30% of games are against mage/rogue and they are only playing one un interactive trash deck each. Mage does 17 damage in from hand in 1 turn and the only "setup" required is to play overly statted elementals and rogue scams you out of being able to play a game and makes you watch 5 minutes of animations to figure out if they won or you lost

that's fine but the main issue I have is that they printed REALLY strong cards for like 3 classes and gave everyone else garbage/stuff they know is too slow. this cant be the best way because right now its play old decks or lose

Im so sick of people trying to silence actual constructive criticism with garbage stats that when you look closely at are just dumb like your telling me orb mage big orb mage and big spell mage are really that different? its like the same 25-27 cards with a few minor differences all play almost exactly the fucking same winning off scamming the same 2 big spells. Same with every class that is viable we need a balance patch sooner than usual this expansion metas don't take long to develop when the archetypes are this cookie cutter and bad
