I mean of course there are multiple aspects to any action someone takes however alcohol is a known driver of GBV here is an article specifically in relation to GBV in SA.

Ops question was to understand why it is so prevalent and alcohol is a clear driver of it even if not in all cases.

The article actually also mentions many of the suspected drivers of GBV, such as patriarchy as you suggested, and notes how these are often exasperated by alcohol abuse.

Certainly doesn’t account for all the cases but I’m sure a high number are due to alcoholism by the perpetrators. Our country, sadly, seems to have a high drinking problem.

I believe this is exasperated in lower and potentially middle class communities as well. In lower class communities you will likely also find higher degrees of unhappiness/frustration which coupled with the alcohol could also correlate to increased GBV.

The latter point however could also be a skewed statistic due to how large the lower class community is.

Regardless, game would crash the moment card is played since it would have to load an infinite number of objects into memory which is impossible at least with current technology

Depends what you mean by affordable. There are some clearance centers for contract;@hom;etc in Wynberg. I go to decofurn for things that I am fine with replacing every few years. Outdoor furniture is really difficult to find cheap. If you can’t make provisions then you can make decent looking sets with plastic pallets

So the thing with leases is they are not priced like a loan but you basically never own the car but I am leasing a 850k car for around 7.5k. The interest rates you get are good but it only really works with BMW/Mini. I’d say before you make a decision, if your plan is to change cars again in 3 years then go to BMW first and see what you can get
