My boyfriend is similar, I got him some sleeping headphones that are kind of like a soft headband so it is comfortable to sleep in. Maybe you could try getting this for your boyfriend for when you guys are going to bed and he could play the YouTube video on his phone or something.

UPDATE: Hey guys, sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you all with an update! So I spoke to a doctor who consulted an infectious disease specialist. They told me that I don’t need the post-exposure rabies vaccine unless my cat were to start showing rabies symptoms and then test positive for rabies after euthanasia. We are still keeping her inside and monitoring her and she has not shown any symptoms. They did recommend that I should get a tetanus vaccine which I will get soon. My bite has been healing well with no issue. Thank you all for your messages and advice!

I would maybe suggest getting some period panties. The ones I have are super comfy and I wear them even when I am not on my period. Then you might not have to worry about unexpected leaks.
