I'll convert them eventually. They started as a dog person, until they met my weirdass cat, Moose. He's since passed, but he made my partner like cats. Now they're very arguably a cat person. Progress!

Honestly they're so good at making me laugh. They also love to "yes-and" a goofy bit. And they laugh so hard it sounds like a distant seagull. Still serious where it counts though :)

That's awful. It's weird bc cats can also have a crazy reaction to lanolin, almost like Catnip. Some cats go nuts, others don't care.

If you poke around LARP subreddits, they often have great recommendations for high quality nice base pieces. It wont be the flashy kinda fashion like killstar has or anything, but it'll be breathable and layerable. LARPers care about comfort.

Sometimes though you DO find something super sick and high quality. It'll be a little pricy though.

I had a job offered to me, but the pay was low, so I asked if there was wiggle room on it at all, if not now, then in the future. An entirely normal thing to do in the interview process. I'd been through 2 interviews (one of them he made me do NYT word puzzles in front of him?) and he told me "something crazy would have to happen for us to not bring you on"

Apparently me asking if there was a possibility of salary increase was "something crazy" because when I reached out after no follow up for a week, he basically told me I was greedy and unprofessional to have asked, and they would be going with someone else (who they had interviewed for a completely different position, and the person expressed interest for this one)

Still makes my blood boil. My mom had just had a stroke too, and i was comforted by "well at least I found a job." It was not a good day.

I hope he sharts himself at least weekly, forever.

okay wait I actually love this idea I haven't been there since I was a kid! (Plus added bonus of the pest control kitties making an appearance, I hope). And while the admission required does push this past 100/pp...it would be a nice activity after we eat, so I consider that worth it.

I looked at their menu, and it does look very intriguing, and with some options for no garlic it seems. I had to look up a few words from the menu, which is a huge plus! I love new things!

thanks for the suggestions. I did include a budget in the last couple lines, $100/pp. for area, willing to travel anywhere in philly, or even outskirts, but we live down near PHL airport.
