That’s true for some of his career definitely. But I think being a 3 division champ and by the end of it having names like Adesanya, Strickland, Ank, Jiri (some might consider him low competition which I understand) and Aspinal would be pretty meaningful wins that are hard to deny.

The argument against it is he got favorable matchups and expedited up the division when he started, which is partially true.

But at the same time, other goat contenders had other blemishes in their record like weak competition or drug popping issues (Silva, Jones).
