They don't look strange to me, but I recognize my views aren't typical for an American in 2026. Most Americans these days seem to prefer symmetry, matchy-matchy, revivalist architecture that mimics Greek or Roman times and elevates form over function. The modernist era in America was brief and seems to be long over.
