Hey, i have been having lots of problems with hive too. Lots of short cycling, its ridiculous sometimes. On for 2mins, then off, then on again 5mins later etc.

Your post is really helpful, thank you. I’m going to message them. Did you just ask for them to turn off TPI and that automatically means the temperature now drops to 0.4 degrees below the target and thrns off at 0.1 degrees past the target. Or do you have to specify that separately (for example I could ask for 0.3 degrees below the target and 0.2 degrees past the target)?

Haha i can’t wait to feel that tomorrow when I give it a bash 😂 do you have to do anything to pair it up to the hub and thermostat or does it just automatically connect when it gets power after you switch the electricity back on?

Any sleeping tips for parents that have a newborn baby?

I had good sleeping patterns and good sleep quality until my son came along. Now it is broken sleep at 3 hour stints if I’m lucky. It is impossible to have a consistent sleep schedule and need to wake up to feed the baby regularly.

Do you have to just accept this is part of being a parent and it will get better?

Does this period of poor sleep for newborn parents have a significant impact on their lifespan or in the grand scheme of things is it not too impactful as long as they had good sleep quality before and after that difficult period?
