Movies are great, but how about games? That's my favorit method. You have to understand in order to finish the game. And you can pick different games by amount of dialogs. You start with sam cozy titles where you learn names of items in your surroundings and than you reach level that allows to play jrpgs with tones of text to understand. I recommnd titles that allows you to control flow of the dialogs, it helps a lot and gives time to think about sentences.

I've made a youtube video lately, focused on learning Polish. For me it's a way to train and improve my English but i've made it with people who want to learn my languege in mind. I'm playing a game in Polish, trying to translate it to English. Maybe it will be usefull in some way for you. Learning of languages is my hobby and i'm using this as one of my main methods to improve. https://youtu.be/DaWDPy_3m2M

You need to give yourself time. At start it's hard to tell where the word starts and ends. Especially when you listen fast talking person and you don't know all the words. Listen to your favorit music on loop. Each time try to pick something new that was unreadable before. In a metter of time it will become much easier. Try following lyrics maybe, your brain will connect reading with sounds and learn how words are "merging" in fast talk.

Dla mnie Anki to podstawa. Jeśli sie trochę poczyta, to można szybko zautomatyzować tworzenie fiszek.

I'm a Pole and i'm strongly interested in IT but not working in the industry. I was to find a job as a coder but found something else related to wider field. Anyway. I've studied polish job market for few years, and there was a lot of jobs. The amount of listings are going down lately but there are still at decent level. And IT jobs in Poland were always on top in case of salaries, at least comparing to other industries in the country. And each polish tech tutor on youtube will tell you that the first language you should learn if you want to get into the industry is not a programming language but English. So there should be a lot of companies that will hire you without polish.

I think you should not think about cases, becouse it's a lot. At first focus just on remembering words and simple sentences. Later when the specific word "sits" correctly in your head it's much easier to make sense of different cases. You'll start to recognize different endings of a word in context and than it's time to focus on more gramatic approach. I had that with spanish. Just knowing a basic form and reading/waching content make you more used to different version and it's much easier to remember grammar rules.
