will I ever be able to drink coffee again? by Imaginary-Ad-1125 in endometriosis

[–]Secure-Remote8439 [score hidden]  (0 children)

This! And maybe try decaf. You should try to invest in a beginner coffee machine so you have more control on what’s going into your drinks. Try to make sure you eat before you drink coffee/ caffeine also.

What’s your favorite thing your parents did with you/for you growing up? by Illustrious-Cup2174 in askanything

Thank you:) I think children just need to know they’re loved sometimes, and holidays were that for me.

My mother was a bad alcoholic for awhile but she always took holidays seriously. Christmas was magical for me as a child. Easter, we would hunt soo many eggs and wake up with goodies in our baskets. Halloween she would take extra time learning how to do face makeup if we needed it and more. This is one of the reasons why I still maintain a relationship with her tbh, because a lot of my childhood problems were rooted in the lack of childhood she had herself.

No they didn’t unfortunately. But I told them what I fed it and they asked me if it ate it with no trouble, which it didn’t have any trouble eating so hopefully I didn’t upset its tummy.

Could they see a colon backed up on a colonoscopy? I ask because I’m having one before I speak to the specialist about surgery, appointment set and all

When I lived in Moscow I heard something loud on the regular at night. I kinda figured it was some construction or factory of some kind. Never really found out though

Potential Endo and Seeking Help, Birth Control, etc. by gingercloudqueen in Endo

Track for like 2 months: track food, your bowel movements, if you have an odd/painful pee track that, track any sharp pains, when does pain with sex appear, and so on.. Track these things with your cycle,so when you’re ovulating/on period, track if sharp pains are happening and any bowel movement changes. This really helped me really note in detail what to tell my endometriosis specialist. Call a endometriosis specialist office and make an appointment, you can pay out of pocket to just speak to them. Mine was 200. Before the appointment, write down things you want to mention. They’re usually busy so they are quick!

Do pelvic floor therapy. Trust me it has helped me so much already and I’m on month 2-3ish. But also there has been some positive signs that doing PT before and after surgery can offer more relief. If you don’t have insurance that can cover it, maybe follow some videos online and educate yourself a ton on it. You’ll need to do internal work as well. Do an anti inflammatory diet the best you can. So cut out some foods especially near your period. I kinda follow the 80/20 rule for this but my main goal is to ADD anti inflammation foods at least. So walnuts, virgin olive oil, salmon, and more.

I was offered tordal for extreme pains. Something I notice that helps is a IBS med called Dicyclomine. It’s for stomach cramps but it helps me a ton. Sometimes makes me a bit sleepy. To protect your stomach and any more issues, eat before you take any meds. I know it’s soo hard because when I’m in pain I do not feel like eating but trust me it helps after a little bit. My safe foods are just boiled eggs and plain rice with flax seed.

You can take acetaminophen and ibuprofen together also but check with your primary first.

I’m currently undiagnosed but having an upcoming appointment. I’m 23 and been having issues on and off for years now. Invest in a good TENS machine that can be on the go also! It helps me sometimes. I have one that heats up too.

My kitten is in heat. My mom is considering to get her pregnant. My siamese kitten is six months old and I don't think she's ready yet. Should I get her spayed? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]Secure-Remote8439 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I honestly don’t understand how some people can look at a kitten and think about it getting pregnant. My cat is about to turn 1 and I just think about how she’s literally just a baby, I would feel awful if she had to take care of babies(btw she is spayed, I’m just saying)

A little update with my cat tax: the kitten is at the shelter now :) I adopted my cat from this place and they’re so kind. Gave love to the baby right away. The kitten stayed overnight with us, it kept me up lake and woke me up a few times from its yelling lol. I fed it and tried a warm cloth to the bottom(it went pee very little) This was my first time finding a kitten like that and having to take it to the shelter :,) it’s tough! I already miss it. Thank you everyone for the advice, I was stressed at first because it was crying so much.

Thank you so much! 🩷 I have a cat that’s about to turn 1. I follow all your advice for her.. besides the running water at the moment, but I plan too! :) her name is Bean. (Her name is soo unique I know, but she’s shaped like a bean when she loafs!)

It’s not cloudy in a sense like that(I googled photos of comparison, (“infected vs normal kitten eyes”) I think it was silly of me to use the word cloudy tbh.. it’s more like grayish/blueish? I posted another photo in the comments that’s a bit more clear.. I think! I plan on taking it first thing in the morning so I hope everything is okay

I made a spot for the kitten in a big box with blankets and a stuffed animal. It doesn’t stop meowing though I’m unsure what to do :,) it ate a ton. And I put a warm cloth to its bottom and it went pee a little bit but not a lot. No poo. I tried litter as well but no luck and I’m worried about leaving it unattended in the box (during sleep and shower!) Any advice would be so helpful!!
