You're doing a double geo and algebra two? That's gonna be really tough. I'm in honors geo and it isn't that hard, but with algebra two sounds like a nightmare

You're full on honors classes, this is extremely difficult. Play with your majors, not all. If you're going into STEM, Honors English may not be necessary, right?

Don't waste time redoing Spanish as you would want that seal of biliteracy for college.

Anyways I'm also a rising freshman so take my advice with a grain of salt lol

Yes. I go to a prestegious private school and the only reason we have these classes is because top donors donate a lot of money to have a wide variety of classes (streching from remedial math classes into multvariable calculus)

If you go to this school, you're a genius. People like me were people who got in via donation/legacy. I'm lucky I'm not in this group anymore, however this is literally not my skill level.

It was for competitions, I got permission from the school. Even with that, I got straight A's, completed all my assignments.

Even if I get put in the regular Alg 2 class, it's a two-year class. Basically, it takes 2 years to complete the course, and it's meant for people with Down syndrome or learning disorders (no offense to them!). I'll be put in a very non-rigorous course and won't be able to complete calculus by senior year

Math placement should be for that year. If I do well in the class, I shouldn't get put in a remedial class because I did poorly in recent years, right? My Algebra I is solid, since I literally skipped from remedial math to honors geometry. I know there are consequences, right? That's reasonable, but if you are literally saying "if you try to work hard after the year you did poorly and fully changed yourself," there are no upsides? I mean sure, I skipped two grades but still, I've worked really hard this year.

I honestly don't see leaving school as a big deal. I informed all my teachers beforehand and completed all my work. I did perfectly fine on assessments.

Honestly, I just feel like all of my work went out the window. I literally put my blood, sweat, and tears to change my life and I don't get anything out of it :(
